Municipal Authority

The City of Jeannette Municipal Authority does not currently have any contractors working in Jeannette. Howerver, there may be a survey crew in the area from time to time. Feel free to contact the Authority if you have questions about the work.

The Wylie Avenue Project is expected to start in the spring of 2012. This project will involve seperating the combined sewers in the drainage area. The result will be new sanitary sewer and the elimination of the Lincoln Tunnel Overflow.

The Treatment Plant Expansion Project is expected to start in the summer of 2012. The project will double the wet wheather capacity of the plant. This will reduce the number of wet wheather bypasses and is the next step in the plan to reduce backups during heavy rains.
